I am a senior project and program manager having completed over 150 projects on a variety of platforms and proprietary technologies. Projects managed in the fields of software/web development, marketing, e-commerce, distribution, entertainment, aerospace, military/law enforcement, healthcare, telecommunications, advertising, public utilities, automotive, and technology education.

EXPERIENCE

Projects include:
DIRECTV (2013-Present) – Serving as a Senior Project Manager for the Enterprise PMO managing multi-phase Financial, Tax, and Asset Management development projects. Job requirements include overseeing development and testing teams both internal and with vendors (IBM, HP, Amdocs), creating and managing entire lifecycle from Assessment through Deployment, and organizing all projects using CA Clarity PPM software.

The Walt Disney Company (2013) – Consulted on internal custom development projects for the Disney ABC Cable Networks Group. Internal clients included Digital, Franchise Marketing, and Television/Radio Advertising. Duties include project management, vendor relationships, QA testing, documentation, business analytics, training development, stakeholder presentations, and assisting Client Relationship Manager.

Ingram Micro (2011-2012) – Served as Senior Project Manager for several multi-million dollar high-profile emerging technology projects; including Ingram’s Cloud eCommerce platform and Software Licensing/Renewals (Legacy/CRM/Salesforce integration). Managed an international team of over 40 developers and analysts. Successfully executed 3 launch deployments including reducing a 7 month project to 4 months (under budget) while meeting market expectations set by the CEO. Improved interdepartmental relationship management strategies with Development, Quality Assurance, Business, Finance, Contracts, Executive Management, and external vendors allowing previous time and efficiency issues to be resolved. Prepared project financials (SAP) for internal analysis and vendor contracts. Mentored project managers and development staff.

Guthy-Renker (2011) – Completed a 1-year project as Special Projects Manager and managed the Business Analyst team for the web-development of Guthy-Renker’s next generation implementation and conversion to the DemandWare (e-commerce platform). Responsibilities included: member of the project’s lead committee, SDLC oversight, and management of the project’s Business Analysts, managing sub-projects for both the System’s Analysis and Quality Assurance groups. Agile Scrum PM duties involving Microsoft Project and Rally Dev to plan, schedule, develop, adjust, and complete critical tasks relating to the project’s overall success. Actively participated in use case development, test plan creation, integration/end-to-end/user acceptance testing, and Systems Analyst documentation.

Lionsgate/TV Guide.Com/TV Guide Channel (2005-2011) – Served as the Senior Program Manager for Lionsgate Films and the TV Guide channel’s IT risk management/Governance (SAP/Finance/CRM/IPM) and Sarbanes-Oxley effort reporting directly to the CIO. Ownership for program timelines, budgets, overall IT risk analysis/management, documentation management, and audit supervision. Responsibilities expanded to include scheduling and resource management, quarterly and annual testing, as well as remediation, mitigation, and updating of all IT controls. Served on company’s acquisition and change control committees.

Warner Bros. (2004-2005) – Served as a Senior Project Manager for the Warner Bros. Sarbanes-Oxley 404 effort (specializing in the Go-Live of their SAP implementation). Served as one of the primary liaisons between Warner Bros. and their auditing firms (Pricewaterhouse) and (Ernst & Young). Managed areas included SAP, operating systems security, compliance reporting, change management, Legacy mainframe, and ADR.

Young & Rubicam (2000-2003) – Served as Senior Project Manager on over 25 technology-related projects for the advertising firm Young & Rubicam. Managed the timelines, budgets, design, development and deployment of the Automated Fulfillment System for Lincoln-Mercury. Supervised a team of 9 developers and analysts.

Interworld (1999) – Served as Senior Project Manager for a year-long project focused on the roll-out of a new e-commerce application for Interworld’s Global 2000 clients.

U.S. Army (1995-1998) – Project managed, created, and implemented and deployed a 900 page / five day training package with Web-based Training for sustainment education for a combat network hub for the U.S. Army. Lead a team of developers/trainers instructing users on setting up the combat hub in forward military positions in 30-minutes or less.

Westinghouse Communications (1996-1997) – Served as the Project Manager/Senior Developer for the nationwide roll-out of a Lotus Notes Sales On-line Automation System

Hughes (1995) – Project managed and developed Object-Oriented user interface for a Sybase RDBMS at Hughes Space and Communication.

L.A. County Sheriff’s Department (1994-1995) – Served as the Senior Project Manager and developed 11 days of Oracle-based custom training for LA County Emergency Operations Center.

Developed a thorough training course for a custom timekeeping system for Southern California Edison. Also provided training for the Edison/San Onofre Lotus Notes roll-out.
